ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Artie A. Amos has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to stand for their hero as he is memorialized and laid to rest. Mr. Amos served in the US Army and was commissioned as an officer, assigned to the 82nd Airborne with the tank platoon. He was later commissioned as a Captain and honorably discharged from the Army. Mr. Artie went on to work for R.J. Reynolds Archer. He and his wife were married for 43 years and have a very large family. Mr. Artie loved bowling, family, friends along with other things. Mr. Artie was awarded the National Defense Medal.
This will be a one day, two part mission
