ABOUT THE MISSION:
EW1 Arthur “A.B.” Bruce Hill honorably served in the United States Navy for 18 years and 3 months and departed this earth at age 72. He was born June 7, 1947 and passed on January 13th, 2020. He was a member of the America Legion Post #340 and La Socie’te’ Des. He was a Naval EW 9502 Instructor and Advanced Electronic Warfare Technician ending his career at Corry Station, Pensacola. He received the following awards: National Defense Service Medal (second), Good Conduct Medal (fifth), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Battle “E” Ribbon, Navy Unit Commendation, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (five), Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/Silver Star, .33/.45 Cal Expert, and Rifle Expert. We will escort EW1 Hill from Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, 1000 S Hwy 29, Cantonment, to Barrancas National Cemetery where Military Honors will be rendered at 11:30 am.

Special Instructions:

NAS requires long sleeve shirts and trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and proper eye protection always be worn while riding on the base.

10:00 am – KSU to Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, 1000 S Hwy 29, Cantonment
10:30 am – KSU to Barrancas National Cemetery w/LEO Escort (requested)
11:30 am – Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery
