HOTH Mission
Army Birthday Ball Celebratory Drive By – Joe Eason, Veteran
Oviedo, Florida  06-14-20


The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) to join them in a drive by for this hero. Joe is a Purple Heart recipient who faithfully served his country for 13 years. Joe is suffering with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and presently can only communicate using his eyes. During the drive by at his residence, we will stop and a short ceremony will take place by the inviting organization and then we will proceed back to the staging area. According to the organizers, all vehicles will proceed in a single file formation.

Special Instructions:

Facial Masks are mandatory while at the school and Social Distancing will be observed.
2:00 PM – brief for PGR members by the RC
2:20 PM – brief by the organizing organization
2:30 PM – KSU for our hero’s home (aprox 7 miles) as directed by the organizers.
No Flag Line by us.
Flags & Water:
Flags will not be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

  1. Happy Birthday Hero. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. I am sincerely sorry for your affliction with ALS and the hand fate has dealt such a patriot. I know those Patriot Guard Riders, and others, driving by to wish you a Happy Birthday do so with so very much respect for your devotion and service to your country. I wish I could be among them. PGR – Standing for those who stood for us.
