ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have the honor of standing for US Army retiree Sergeant First Class Armando Rivera JR as he once stood for us. SFC Rivera began his 20-year career in the Army as a Hawk Missile Crew Member. He later moved from Air Defense into the Signal Corps where he became a Tactical Satellite Repairman where he later progressed to a Mobile Subscriber Equipment Communications Chief. SFC Rivera received numerous awards and decorations during his career including a Meritorious Service Medal, an Army Commendation Medal, and 3 awards of the Army Achievement Medal.

Special Instructions:

We will stand a flag line as the procession arrives and during the graveside service with military honors. Coronavirus precaution disclosure: Please bring a mask and wash hands often, be prepared to follow the guidelines from state and local officials as well as facility or cemetery guidelines to be outlined at the mission briefing. A general record of attendees will be held by the ride captain for a period not to exceed 2 weeks in the case of the need for contact tracing. If you test positive for COVID-19 within 10 days of attending a mission please contact Ride Captain with that information, your name will not be disclosed. Those who are sick, have a household member or other close contact who is sick should not attend and those who have a higher risk of severe illness should weigh the benefits of in-person attendance against the risk of exposure to a person with COVID-19, especially if recommendations for wearing masks and social distancing may be difficult to follow for themselves or others.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
