The family of Archilee (“Archie”) Sapp, of Ashland, MO, World War II US Army veteran, has requested the Patriot Guard Rider’s participation in his funeral services. Hero Sapp, age 93, was a veteran of the 109th Infantry during WWII.
The services will be conducted on June 4th at the Goshen Primitive Baptist Church, 500 Cedar Tree Lane, Hartsburg, MO (note: church is actually located at Wilton, MO, unincorporated).
Visitation is scheduled from 0900 to 1100, Saturday morning June 4th, with services at 1100. Internment will follow the services at the cemetery across the road from the church. A flag line will be held during the visitation period, and those that are able to stay may be invited to form a flag line at the cemetery.
Staging is 0830 at the Goshen Primitive Baptist Church. Take the Ashland, MO exit from US Highway 63 and proceed west through Ashland on East Broadway, which turns into State Route M. Stay on St Route M for 7 miles. At bottom of hill turn left onto West Cedar Lane which will take you to the church nearby.
You will pass East Cedar Tree Lane prior to arriving in Wilton (do not take this road – proceed on to West Cedar Lane Rd). Route M terminates at Wilton at the Missouri River. The Goshen Primitive Baptist Church overlooks the Missouri River.
