Annual Washington, OK High School Football Game Honoring Veterans Comment

  1. End of mission report: HOTH: 13 September 2019, Washington H.S. & The Warriors for Freedom, Washington, OK

On a beautiful Oklahoma Friday evening 12 Patriot Guard Riders on 9 bikes and 1 cage gathered to deliver the game ball to officials at the Washington High School vs Purcell High School football game, as they honored the military prior to the start of the game.

Riders met Libby Café in Goldsby, OK and proceeded to the Washington High School football stadium. The Ride Captain received the game ball from Scott Statton from The Warriors for Freedom before proceeding on to the field.

Riders parked along the sideline on the visitor’s side of the field. Prior to the playing of the National Anthem, the Ride Captain presented the game ball to the officials. After the posting of the colors and the National Anthem riders mounted their bikes and departed the field.

I would like to express a most sincere thank you to Washington High School and The Warriors for Freedom for inviting the PGR and allowing us to be a part of honoring our country’s military.

    Respectfully Submitted,
    Mark Blevins
    RCIC
