Andy Stierwalt’s family has invited us to be a large part of the celebration of Andy’s life as we bid him farewell. Andy’s mission in this life became complete on Thursday, 22 May 2014 after he suffered a massive stroke. Andy served his country as a member of the United States Marines and continued to serve his brothers as a Ride Captain for the Patriot Guard Riders in the Salina, KS area for the last several years.
Andy was known around town as Handy Andy as this was his livelihood. He could fix or build anything. He was also very popular at Christmas time for he was the best Santa Claus I ever saw. He didn’t have to fake a beard or the rose colored cheeks or the big belly because he wore those naturally year round. Andy will be truly missed by everyone who knew him but at Andy’s request, don’t be sad for him because Andy knew God in the biggest way and he was not afraid to join him in Heaven.
