ABOUT THE MISSION:

Amos Clifton Beard served in the United States Navy 1945 – 1947 and earned the American Area Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.  He later joined the National Guard and ending his Military career as a Major in the Army Reserves.

Riders will stage at the church to be briefed and to stand tall and silent as family and friends arrive. After the service begins, flags will be returned to the support vehicle. Riders will then receive a safety briefing and be staged for the procession to the cemetery. Riders should have a face covering/mask available for situations where social distancing (6’separation) is not possible.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.

Those riders not participating in part one will stage at the cemetery to be briefed and to establish a flag line and await the arrival of the procession. Riders in the procession will quickly dismount and join the flag line. Riders will stand tall and silent until the completion of the service, after which flags will be returned to the flag vehicle. Riders will then be debriefed and dismissed.PGR participation will include the folding and presentation of the flag and may be needed as pallbearers.Riders should have a face covering/mask available for situations where social distancing (6’separation) is not possible.
