ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care to be family and pallbearers, to stand in silent honor for an U.S. Marine Corps American Hero then escort to the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies for the interment with military honors. Our American Hero proudly served and stood for us, its now our turn to stand in honor for him. Requesting at least 6 pallbearers please, to contact Jim Shaw and to arrive the funeral home by 1:30 PM.

Members can attend all of a mission or any part of the mission. PGR sets no time for a member to stand a mission. We Thank you for whatever time you give us and the families of our heroes appreciate your time.
Please be aware & alert of your surroundings. Also before heading out, please watch the weather, dress accordingly and hydrate.
Remember that the National Cemetery is a Federal Reservation and NO WEAPONS are permitted.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have a NNOK service for Tuesday, October 17th at 10am for a US Army Korean War Era veteran. There is a sister but she lives out of state and is unable to attend (the FH will mail the flag to her). An adopted grandson will be accepting the flag on her behalf.
