DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission\nAlvin Shiffert \, Retired\nUSA – \, Vietnam\nSt Charles\, Missouri – 09-09-19\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nThe family of Al “Colonel” Shiffert has requested the Patriot Guard to stand a flag line before his memorial service. We will then escort family and friends to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery\, where well deserved military honors will take place. LTC Shiffert retired from the United States Army\, serving for over 22 years and in the Vietnam war. He served over 6 years in foreign service. After retiring from the US Army\, he started his career in education at CBC where he was affectionately referred to as “The Colonel”.
