ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of MSgt Alvin H. Thomas has invited the Patriot Guard to escort MSgt Thomas to his final resting place at Barrancas National Cemetery and stand a silent flag line during military honors. MSgt Thomas honorably served over 21 and a half years in the United States Air Force before retiring on 31 Dec. 1976. He passed from this earth at 82 years of age. The Patriot Guard will meet MSgt Thomas, family and friends at the main gate of NAS Pensacola and escort them to Barrancas National Cemetery.

Special Instructions:

Naval Air Station requires long sleeve shirts or jacket, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT Approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles, and appropriate eye protection while riding on board the base.

08:45 am – KSU to NAS Pensacola Main Gate
09:15 am – KSU to Barrancas National Cemetery
09:30 am – Honors
