ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of US Army, WWII Veteran Alvan T. Fuller, has requested our presence at the interment of their beloved Hero. Alvan served his country by enlisting in the Army on October 12, 1943. He was honorably discharged on February 23, 1946. Alvan served with Co. L, 409th Infantry Regiment. He earned the WWII Victory Medal; the American Theater Campaign Ribbon; the European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Medal; and the Good Conduct Medal. Alvan was a prominent figure in the New Bedford Veteran Community and was an active member of American Legion Post 1.
