Alfred T. Farrar Sr. proudly served with the famed Tuskegee Airmen, the World War II African American combat aviation unit made famous by theHollywood movie “Red Tails.” In spite of tremendous discrimination, these young American men and women served their nation with distinction and opened the door of opportunity for many other Americans. Mr. Farrar would have turned 100 years old on December 26. We have been asked by Mr. Farrar’s family has asked us to stand in honor of his life and service.He stood for us; we will now stand for him.
