Alfonso (Poncho) Baca Rey was a Corporal during World War II having served in Rome Arno, North Apennines and Po Valley earning an EAME Campaign Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Campaign Medal, Distinguished Unit Badge and Victory Ribbon and he received a Presidential Commendation for having served in three major battles.
Survivors include his two daughters, four grandsons, one granddaughter, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and a brother.

Special Instructions:
Funeral Mass will begin at 10AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 705 Delaware Avenue (corner of 8th Street) in Alamogordo, NM. We will rally at the Lowes GROCERY Store, 675 10th Street at 0900 hours, mission & safety briefing @ 0910 and KSU @ 0920. I’d like to have the Flag line up by 0930 at the church.
Directly following the Church Services we will escort the Funeral Procession to ICC Cemetery and reform a flag line for graveside services. Please be prepared for a long initial flag line in the morning heat and direct sunlight. Flags will be provided.
Remember to ride with the PGR all you have to be is a Patriot. No previous military service is required, nor do you have to have a motorcycle. All you have to do is be able to carry a flag which we will provide.
