Alexandria 9/11 Heroes Run

ABOUT THE MISSION:
PGR has been invited to stand a flag-line at the Heroes Run and Walk event during their Patriotic opening ceremony and at the start and finish lines of the race. This is in conjunction with the Fairfax County Police and Fire Department as well as the United States Marine Corps. This 5K race is held every September across the US and US military bases around the world to remember our military and first responders and those who died on September 11 and the wars since. This race is held with the support of local communities and the Travis Marion Foundation, the foundation is named to honor and remember Travis Marion a Marine Corps 1st Lieutenant who was killed by a sniper in Iraq.

Briefing: 7:45 AM, PGR will set up the flag-line immediately following the briefing.
Unless there is a last minute change we will park on the left side of the entrance of the school where the car show is staged.
