ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Albert Thompson, 92, Omaha, Nebraska, United States Army Air Corps, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders participate in his funeral, escort and graveside service. Our Hero served his country with the United States Army Air Corps at Offutt Air Force Base. He was awarded the WWII Victory Medal. The USAAC was the aerial warfare service component of the US Army between 1926 and 1941, at which time the USAAC became the US Army Air Forces until the Department of the Air Force was established in 1947. Our Hero, Veteran Albert Thompson, continued his life of service as a Catholic Acolyte, with much of his time devoted to working with Veterans at the Thomas Fitzgerald Veterans Home.

Service: 11:00 AM, burial will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery, 7710 West Center Road, Omaha, 68124. PGR shall stand a flag-line during the graveside service. Weather permitting, PGR will provide a motorcycle escort to the cemetery. Safety being paramount, ride only if conditions permit. The Nebraska Patriot Guard Riders have been recognized by the National Safety Council and the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety for adhering to and promoting motorcycle safety.
