PFC Andrews proudly and honorably served in the Army 2 ½ years as a Light Machine Gunner. His battles and campaigns include Naples-FOGGIA, Rome-Arno, Southern France, Rhineland, Central Europe. His medals and ribbons include Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, WWII Victory Medal, Bronze Arrowhead, EAMETO Medal Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Badge.
