Albert Lee Green, Retired

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family of First Sergeant (E-8) Albert Lee Green, age 81, United States Army, to stand in his honor and escort him to the Barrancas National Cemetery.  1st Sgt Green served in the United States Army over 22 years and was honorably retired 31 October 1981.  He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal seventh award, Army Commendation Medal with third Oak Leaf Cluster, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, fourth award and several other awards. Honors will be at Barrancas National Cemetery at 9:30 a.m.

Special Instructions:

Caution: The Naval Air Station requires long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and appropriate eye protection. This attire will be maintained always while riding aboard the base.
8:15 a.m. – Briefing for all riders
8:30 a.m. – KSU to Benboe Funeral Home
9:00 a.m. – KSU to Barrancas National Cemetery
9:30 a.m. – Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
