Honor Mission
Alaska Airlines Honor Cart Escort
USA USMC USN USAF USCG
MULTI-CITY, Washington – 05-08-19
MULTI-CITY, Washington – 05-08-19
ABOUT THE MISSION:
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders,we have been graciously invited to be part of the procession for the Alaska Airlines Honor Cart Program’s newest cart that will travel from SeaTac, WA, and arrive in Ontario, CA, May 11, 2019, for a presentation to Run for the Wall 2019, and eventually ending up at Phoenix International Airport. The Honor Cart is made by a group of Alaska Airlines employees who decided that any hero that is taking their final trip home on one of their flights should have a dignified and private means of transport from the plane to the coach for the ride to funeral home. They came up with the idea for these carts – there are nine in service as of May 2018 – this will be the 10th one; all done with volunteer labor, materials and funds. The escort will start out of SeaTac, with stops along the way, handing off to different groups of Patriot Guard Riders all the way to Ontario, California. This is a large escort, if you have bike flags please fly them proudly. Please join us in escorting this Honor Cart on the first leg of the journey, it’s an amazing ride.

Where is the schedule of stops through Oregon this page only shows the first two stops before Oregon? We would like to join the escort but need to know the schedule. Can someone help us out?

I can only tell you a few of us will be meeting up with the escort on I-5 at “Rice Hill” around 5 or 6 pm. And am told they will stop for the night at Seven Feathers in Canyonville, Oregon.
