ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Alan Davis, Jr. has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to stand in honor of their hero, as he once stood for us.  It would be our honor to stand for him.  Mr. Davis was a Tech Sgt. (E 6) in the Air Force, retiring with over 22 years of service in September 1979.  Upon retirement, he started working for the US Postal service and retired after 20 years of service.

Special Instructions:

Briefing: 9:45 AM. We will stand the flag line 10:00 AM-10:30 AM, then stand down during the service.  Once the service is completed, we will provide an escort to Fort Jackson National Cemetery (Approximately 1 hour 30 minute ride).  Estimated arrival 1:30-2:00 PM.  A LEO escort has been requested by the funeral home. Those unable to make the funeral or ride are welcome to wait at Fort Jackson National Cemetery for our arrival.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.

Meet at the administration building for a 1:30 PM briefing and move to the committal shelter as a group to establish a flag-line to be held throughout the service.
