Adrian Burdette Culver, 85 years old, USN (1950-1953), KOREA – (LEO), 25 AUGUST 2016
The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked by the family of Adrian Burdette Culver to have a flag line to honor him for his service to his country and Prescott community. It will be our honor to do so.
Adrian proudly served in the US Navy from 10/10/1950 to 4/24/1953 as an Aviation Machinist’s Mate 3C during the Korean conflict. He also spent 11 years as a Prescott Police Officer. After he retired form the Police Dept., he and Yvonne opened a business in downtown Prescott for a number of years and then retired from that. Well, Yvonne did not care for retirement all that much and he opened the Cats Meow Gift shop on Gurley St. in Prescott. He loved to dance and eat fine food. Adrian was also a life member of American Legion Post 6 in Prescott.
Adrian entered eternal rest on 16 August at the age of 85. He was preceded by his wife of 61 years Yvonne, a daughter and a brother. He is survived by his daughter, brother, three sisters Betty, Carmen and Sharon, grandchildren and 4 great grand children.
There will be a celebration of life at American Legion Post 6 in Prescott after the memorial.
