Aaron J. Esala, Active Duty

Aaron Joseph Esala, age 26 of Oxnard, CA, formerly Ashland, WI, passed away on September 5, 2018, as the result of a motorcycle accident in Littlerock, CA. Aaron was born on October 2, 1991, in Cloquet, MN, the son of Gerald J. and Ann F. Esala. He attended Ashland High School and after graduating in 2010, he attended the University of Minnesota in Duluth. In November of 2013, Aaron enlisted in the United States Navy and was a UT2 (Utilitiesman Petty Officer Second Class). On September 1, 2018, surrounded by hundreds of loving family members and friends, Aaron was united in marriage to Amber J. Ovaska in Ashland. He and his wife were returning to Port Hueneme in California in anticipation of moving to his new assignment in Texas when he died. His family has asked us to join them as they remember Aaron.
