Honor Mission
SP4 Jesse Smith, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders, we have been invited to honor and
remember the life of Vietnam Veteran Jesse Smith, at his interment at Tahoma National
Cemetery. Jesse was born on September 25, 1951, and served in the US Army from 1970-
1972. During that time he served in Vietnam and received his honorable discharge at the
rank of SP4.  Mr. Smith died on June 23, 2020 and having no family members to step
forward, PGR will stand in their place to honor his memory, duty and service to our country.
SP4 Jesse Smith will be escorted from Morton, WA to Tahoma National Cemetery by a
Patriot Guard Riders (pre-selected) rolling honor guard. Mr. Smith will receive his well
earned military final honors at that time. This is the second part of services for Mr. Smith –
there is a vigil being held in Morton, on September 22.

End of service: 1:00 PM, quietly fade away, debrief.
