Mission of Honor – September 11, 2012, Bellevue Nebraska
.
The City of Bellevue has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to Honor the families of our Fallen Heroes at their 9/11 Ceremony to be held at the American Heroes Park on the north side of Mission across from Haworth Park near the Missouri River toll Bridge in Bellevue.

.
This ceremony honors the men and women and their families who have courageously fought for our country as well as the lives lost on that tragic day in 2001 and the first responders – firefighters, EMTs, and law enforcement — who protect us every day. Speaking at the 9/11 Memorial Ceremony will be Command Sergeant Major Patrick Alston, the senior enlisted member of US Strategic Command at Offutt AFB.

.

The Bennington Fire District is bringing Nebraska’s designated World Trade Center artifact for display. The ceremony includes several components: recognition of our emergency first responders, and a Roll Call of our Fallen Heroes from Nebraska and Western Iowa. The ringing of the Four Fives will honor first responders, while the Thirteen Folds of the Flag honors the patriotic spirit of Americans, young and old.
