DESCRIPTION:Memorial\n4th Annual Bells Across America for Fallen Service Members\n–\nNorfolk\, Virginia – 09-26-19\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nThe Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in honor of our Gold Star Families during the Bells Across America event. Navy Installations across the country will participate in the 4th Annual Bells Across America for Fallen Service Members ceremony to honor those who have died while on active duty. During these memorial events\, the bells rung will not signal anyone’s presence\, but instead will toll in their absence. The Patriot Guard Riders will stand a Flag Line during the Mission inside the Chapel.\n\n\nPRIMARY STAGING DETAILS: 09-26-19 \nStaging Time: 09:00 AM\n \nFoodlion\n8401 Hampton Blvd.\nNorfolk\, Virginia 23505\n\n\nRide Captain: \nWilliam ‘AtSix’ Johnson\nwmajhnsn@mac.com\n(757) 642-0747\n\nRSVP greatly appreciated. Co-Ride Captain: Skip Geisaka\, (757) 434-2154\n\n\nSpecial Instructions: \nNo GUNS\, Large Knives or weapons of any kind are allowed on Base.\nBrief: 0915\nKSU: 0930 (we should have an escort by Navy Security)\nFlag Line: 0945\nMission: 10:00 – The Flag Line will relocate inside the Chapel just before the service starts.\nDavid Adams Chapel\, NOB Norfolk\, 1630 Morris St\, Bldg. C-7\, Norfolk\, VA.\nAll Ride Captains in Training (RCIT) are encouraged to participate and learn the very honorable procedures used for this mission.\nAs this Mission is on Naval Station Norfolk full rider gear (PPE: i.e. Long Pants and Sleeves\, proper foot wear\, and Gloves) is required.\nWe will ride on and off the base as a group; if you go on base with the group you must leave with the group.
