ABOUT THE MISSION:

The DFW National Cemetery has requested the Patriot Guard to read the names of the 21 Veterans who, after serving their country, made the decision to donate their bodies for science and research – again serving their country in its endeavor to further understand the human body and perhaps even find cures for various diseases. This large inurnment service is the result of coordination between the National Veterans Administration, the DFW National Cemetery, Dallas County, and the North Texas Patriot Guard Riders. There are 4 Air Force, 13 Army, 3 Marines, and 1 Navy veteran who served honorably. These men have been released by the University of Texas Medical Center, where they gave the last full measure of service to our country by training the next generation of doctors.

Special Instructions:

Inurnment Service: 1130 am
Mission brief will be given, then proceed on to the designated shelter to set up the flags.
The riders will gather under the shelter to stand in as family and we will assist in the reading of the names of our Veterans, representing the Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, and Navy. Four riders will be identified, one from each service, to read the names.
Military Honors will be provided.
At the conclusion of the committal service, the flags will be retrieved and returned to the shelter storage.
The post mission brief will be given, and the riders dismissed.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
