Colonel George T. Raach served honorably in the United States Army as an Armor Officer for twenty seven years, one month and twenty-seven days. During his service to his country, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal; the Defense Superior Service Medal; the Meritorious Service Medal w/5 OLC; the Army Commendation Medal w/2 OLC; the Army Achievement Medal w/1OLC; the Valorious Unit Award; the National Defense Service Medal w/Bronze Star; the Vietnam Service Medal (4); The Army Service Ribbon; the Overseas Service Ribbon (2); the Vietnam Campaign Medal; the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation; and the Office Secretary Defense Identification Badge. He was a graduate of the Command and General Staff College, Harvard University and the National Army War College.

Rider brief at the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. Depart funeral home at 9:45 A.M. and escort to Saint Joseph Catholic Church (306 N. Broadway) for 10:00 A.M. funeral mass. Depart Church at 10:50 A.M. to escort to Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery for 11:00 A.M. service.
NOTE: If you are riding bike, you must have helmet, glasses, long sleeve shirt/jacket, full finger gloves, ankle high boots and ID to enter Fort Leavenworth.
Flags & Water:

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
