ABOUT THE MISSION:
Sergeant First Class Dixson served 21 years in the United States Army, retiring in 1979. His specialty was Chemical Operations. SFC Dixson’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm, Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Silver Service Cluster and 2 Bronze Service Stars, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal with 4 Loops

After the Mission Brief, Honor Bikes will move to the lane and the Riders will move to the Shelter and establish the Flag Line to await the arrival of SFC Dixson’s family and friends. At the conclusion of the service, flags will be returned to storage, Riders debriefed and dismissed.
