ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of U.S. Army, SSGT Gene Nolan Yates (84) requests the Patriot Guard Riders presence to stand a flag line prior to his service at Williams-Thomas Funeral Home, Newberry, FL. followed by a flag line at Evergreen Cemetery, Gainesville, FL, as the family shows their final respects to their loved one. SSGT Yates served his country honorably for 14 years as a member of Special Forces. Following his military service he served 30 years as a Deputy Sheriff in Alachua County. Please come join us on the flag line as we honor a Korean War Veteran and former LEO.

May family and friends find strength in acknowledgement that Gene Nolan Yates, having served this nation honorably, was willing to sacrifice all that another might taste or maintain liberty and stood courageously where few dared tread and for such dedication to nation, duty, and service rendered, is so remembered and honored among patriots.
