ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard will proudly escort SSgt Norman G Spiewak, United States Marine Corps, to Barrancas National Cemetery, and stand a silent flag line in his honor. SSgt Spiewak proudly and faithfully served his country for over 10 years and was honorably discharged on 30 November 1969. SSgt Spiewak earned the following awards and decorations; National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal w/2 devices, Presidential Unit Commendation, Vietnam Service Medal w/3 devices, Navy Unit Commendation, Air Medal 5th award, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/device, Basic Parachute Insignia, and the Meritorious Mast.  SSgt Spiewak was born 14 November 1946 and passed from this earth on 20 May 2021 at the age of 74.

Special Instructions:

Naval Station Pensacola requires long sleeve shirts and trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and proper eye protection. This attire will be worn at all times while riding aboard the base.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
