ABOUT THE MISSION:
Mr. Christine, 88, was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army – He was also a long time supporter of USO and attended countless deployments at Camp McCrady and at Eagle Aviation, along with his wife Dorothy. He was a great friend to all who met him.

Special Instructions:

Briefing: 9:45 AM  After the briefing, we will form up near the coach to render honors as Mr. Christine is placed in the coach. Once the procession is formed, we will conduct an escort to the gate of Fort Jackson National Cemetery. At the gate, we will turn off and not enter the cemetery. This is an escort only with no flag line.  The RCIC will make the decision on flying big flags based upon safety considerations, including weather. Please check your mounts if you fly big flags for highway speeds.  COVID-19 precautions will be taken by the the PGR and all regulations set by the CDC and the State of South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs will be followed.  Each attendee is responsible to bring a personnel face-covering due to possible interaction with the family. It does not have to be an actual mask, any sort of covering will be sufficient, as we will be setting an example that “We are observing all CDC recommendations regarding COVID-19”.  In keeping with the requirements of the State of South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs, PGR members will maintain at least a six-foot distance between each other during the briefing and when rendering honors at the coach.

Flags will not be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
