Fellow Riders,
It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that America has lost another True American Hero...
The Family of MSG Mickey Joe McCoy has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to Stand in Honor of their loved one. MSG McCoy passed away Tuesday morning at the age of 79 years old. He served 28 years in the Army and served in Vietnam. His awards are: National Defense Service Medal (1st Oak Leaf Cluster), United Nation Service Metal, Korean Service Medal, Purple Heart, 7 Overseas service bars, Air Metal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Bronze Service Star w/V Device, and Vietnam Service. Mr. McCoy is survived by his wife Denise and four children.



Part One: Visitation hours July 24th 2014 6-8 p.m. Eastern time

Location: Vance Memorial Chapel

Phenix City Al 36867
Time: No Later than 5:30 p.m. Eastern


Part Two:
We will escort our hero to Fort Mitchell Cemetery July 25th 2014 (Friday) @1300
Staging at the funeral home no later than 1230 pm Eastern time.

It is with sadness that we hear A hero has left us. Sammie and I wish to offer our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of this true American Hero.
