Giving Tuesday
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. It’s a global movement meant to counteract the spirit of consumerism over the holidays with a day dedicated to giving. Giving Tuesday is done on the first Tuesday following the traditional “Black Friday” shopping spree. This year it’s on November 29th. You’ll often see the #GivingTuesday hashtag used in conjunction with the campaigns.
The PGR #GivingTuesday Campaign
For Giving Tuesday 2022, we asked our members and supporters to help us achieve our goal to raise $15,000 in one day for the support of our mission. Although we missed that goal, we were able to raise $7,838.00 to support our mission.
