We’ve modified how registered members reset their passwords. This will now be a largely “self-service” process. Members needing their password changed will fall into one of these three catagories:
I know my current password, username (or registered email address), and can login. I want to change my password.
This is the easiest scenario. Login using your email (or username), and your password. Then go to Members -> Update Profile. When the page opens, select the Password tab, and enter the new password, then confirm it in the second box, and you’re all set.
I don’t know my password, but I know my PGR Username (or my registered password). I need to reset my password.
When you go to the PGR website, select the Reset Password option in the top menu. If you’re using a mobile device, select the top “hamburger menu” (three horizontal bars, in blue) and select the Reset Password option. You’ll be prompted for your email address or username. After entering the information and selecting the Reset Password button, an email will be sent to your registered email address with a link to reset your password. After resetting your password, you’ll be prompted to log in.
If you do not know your username or registered email, or if this option is not working for you, please send an email to email@example.com, listing your current email, and any other email addresses you may have used to register.
I don’t know my password, or my username, and/or I don’t have access to my registered email address.
In this case, we’re going to have to have our accounts team reset the password for you. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, listing your current email, and any other email addresses you may have used to register and one of our volunteers will reset your password for you.
