PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING

USE OF THE PENDING MISSIONS FORUM
  Missions posted in this forum
• KIA notices from the Department of Defense (DoD) • Notices of the passing of a hero due to other circumstances and not yet confirmed • Veterans not yet confirmed • Missions posted as Condolences Only
   Posting KIA Notice
KIA notices are posted by the moderators after receiving the confirmation notification from the Department of Defense. The DoD does not release information until 24 Hours after the family has been notified. If you notice a media story regarding a fallen hero please send it to your State Captain for his/her consideration. Do not send notices to the moderatorS, they will only forward to the respective State Captain and that could delay posting and confirmation of the mission.
Once the mission has been confirmed the State, Ride Captain or his/her designee must send confirmation to mods@patriotguard.org so the mission can be moved to the confirmed forum.
  Reply Posts
Feel free to post your condolences and intentions to attend in the thread. Please do not post questions regarding confirmation or other aspects of the mission within the thread. Your Captains are very busy behind the scenes with the organization of the mission and will post the information as soon as it is available. If you do have questions, please use the Private Message function or emails to communicate to your State or Ride Captains. Physical and mailing addresses or phone numbers of heroes, their families, and PGR members should not be posted in our forums in order to protect their privacy and for security purposes. Names of minor children will not be posted in our mission forums if you are listing survivors. Full articles can not be posted in our forums due to copyright infringement. Links to online articles are permitted. News articles regarding missions should be sent to the State Captain or Ride Captain in charge of the mission first before posting in a thread. The article may contain information not suitable for posting in the mission thread. Missions are only scheduled and posted upon approval of the State Captain. We do not post missions using a news article unless the State Captain has already made contact with the CAO or at the families’ request. Members may not post missions. Moderators post the missions after receiving the information from the State captain or his/her designee. If you become aware of a potential mission please see the directory on the home page for the email address to send the mission request or contact your State Captain directly.
For further information about posting in our forums please see the Forum Guidelines.
  Thank you for your cooperation
