2007 Tornado Poker Run.jpg

I want to take this time to thank the Patriot Guard and all their riders who participated in the poker run for the those PGR Members who lost their homes in Greensburg May 4, 2007. The funds raised will be a big help in our recovery process. Again thank you all and God bless you and America.

P.S. I enclosed a photo of our home we lost on May 4

Eric:

I hope all is going well with you and your family. It's hard to believe that wind can do so much damage!

My wife and I flew from Reno to Tulsa June 12 and drove our newly purchased car back home. We happened through Greensburg KS on the way home. My wife quickly grabbed our little digital camera and clicked off 30 or so pictues. We have never seen anything like that, having both been born on the West Coast. We got into Dodge City KS and had dinner, we asked the waitress what we had seen about 40 miles back. She told us the story of what happened to Greensburg and how she too had lost her home. All I can say is nothing compares to the complete and utter distruction a tornado can do. Our heart goes out to all the folks who were effected by the tragidy.

I have a friend who came to Greensburg just after the tornado and he stayed a week to help out. When he returned he told me that you would not believe the distruction. Well in June I came through Greensburg and he was right. I have never witnessed anything like it. I pray that you and your families are safe. I just wish I had came there when my friend came to help out. You just never know what mother nature can do. Thank God no more were killed or injured than there was. To everyone in Greensburg, May God shine on you through this.
