PGR Garage Sale 2008

As we accessorize and customize our bikes we all end up with a garage full of parts that collect dust and take up space. We can't bring ourselves to get rid of these items, but we have no good use for them and may never need them again. Well, the PGR now has a need for those items. We need you to go through your garage and DONATE all of your good, clean, unwanted motorcycle accessories/parts to the PGR. We will sell these items on eBay and all proceeds (sales less shipping costs) will be used for the Legal Defense Fund. Motorcycle parts/accessories include pegs, seats, lights, handle bars, grips, kickstands, sissie bars, luggage, bags, mirrors, etc...

Please follow the simple steps listed below should you choose to participate in this event.

Ship your donated item to:

PGR Garage Sale
C/O BTC
900 N. East Ave.
Panama City, Florida 32401

Include a description with all pertinent info such as Part #, Make, Model, and Year if the item is bike specific.

Please include your name and email address as we will email you a receipt for your tax deductible donation. It will be up to each individual contributor to list the value of the donated item(s) on each receipt when received.

Should you have any questions that are specific to this fund raising event please email them to: pgrldfgaragesale@gmail.com

Mission Complete: Wreaths Across America 2007 (Click this Link for Additional Info and Photos)

Wreaths 1.jpg

2007 Wreath Across America Escort to Arlington National Cemetery.

This year’s planning for this endeavor started in May when Bunny and I first went up to the Worcester Wreath Company and met with Mr. Worcester. At this meeting he told us that we will be bringing 10,000 wreaths to Arlington. He had a vision of taking a whole week and stopping at different towns along the way to spread the word about America never forgetting our veterans, and especially those who gave all to keep America free.

He asked us to help him plan the trip from Maine to Arlington and that night we went to work and mapped out the whole trip and sent the planned route to him the next day. What he did next was unbelievable; he estimated all of the towns we would be passing thru on the journey: a total of 196 is what he gathered. Then his instructed his office staff sent out letters to each one of these town asking if they would be interested in us stopping in their individual cities on the trip south. And that was the start of this year’s escort to Arlington.

The following recap of events would not have been possible without the help of many dedicated Patriot Guard Riders. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the hundreds of PGR members and all the other organizations that helped to make this year’s escort so successful. Some of you rode long distances thru all kinds of weather to join us and show your respect to our heroes . . .we thank you.

Mr. and Mrs. Worcester and family and all their employees at the Worcester Wreath Co. we also salute you on a job well done . . .

Snap & Bonnie's Farwells . . .

Over the past week I've done a lot of thinking about PGR.  It's been quite a ride!! More tears and joy than I could have imagined.  I'd like to share some of those thoughts and memories with you . . .

Thanks For Your Patience . . .

Web Site Administrator Announcement

Thanks for your patience . . .

I just wanted to thank everyone for your patience with me and my family with our moving this past few months.  For those of you that missed the previous announcement, my wife and I built a new home this year, but before we could complete it our rental lease ended and the Land Lady asked us to move.  We have been staying with good friends for about 2 months now.  You ask what does this mean to you.

It means that where we are staying our Internet connect has been very unreliable, which in turn means that very few changes have been made to the PGR Flags for our Troops Program, Troop and Member Photo of the Day, or new HOTH stories on the home page.  I can't do those uploads with a poor connection.

After we move one more time this week on the 27th I hope to get back to business as usual.  For those that have asked: yes we have had additional flags received and pledged; we have had numerous new requests from our troops for flags too; and we have received numerous new photos from our troops and members for those projects and programs I post on the home page.

I hope to get those changed out on a regular basis again.  We have one week of full chaos left, and then maybe a couple of week of catching up and making all those changes.  My wife Jen and I thank you all for your prayers, support and understanding.

Thank you . . .

Neal & Jennifer Heupel
