I live just south of St. Joe (about 15 minutes north of Platte City). Am unable to attend Pfc. Bradbury's service, but will be there in spirit.
God Bless and be safe.
pbrobbins...if so inclined and not cutting into arrival at legion hall, bring them up 371 north thru New Market.

| Is there going to be a Group from ALR Post 400? What time are they leaving Topeka? and where. I plan on starting at 0600 hours from Manhattan, riding up 24 to Topeka then turn north on 4 to 59 to Atchison then turn north on 7 to Troy/36, then head east on 36 to St Joseph then north on 29 til I hit the exit ( Ramp 47 ) to Fredrick Blvd. I would rather ride with a group if there is a group leaving from Topeka. Will try this again! Kai: Members of ALR, PGR and others who wish to join, will Leave Topeka around 8:AM from Post 400 on Hwy 24. Your rout is exactly the rout we had panned for ourselves. Might be following YOU. Big Dog (DC Hanna) Has to be in St Joe the night before so we will have to organize the ride up ourselves. Sardog will be caging with Flags. Pfc. Bradbury scheduled to arrive St Joe 16:00 hours tomarrow afternoon. Be advised that If there are any delays on rout, this mission could possibly be rescheduled for Monday but were praying that for the family things will go smoothly. Are you or somewone familure with the Legion post location in St Joe. Actual directions would be good.

To the Topeka riders: Hey guys, why don't you come east on I-70, then go north on I-435, then turn off at Platte City (exit 18). I-435 takes you right up to Platte City. (note: this is the I-435 that goes north past the Kansas Speedway Racetrack, Nebraska Furniture Mart and Cabellas) We will meet at the McDonalds just off the interstate in Platte City. Can't miss it. All interstate highway all the way to Platte City.
I know exactly where the American Legion building is in St. Joseph. I grew up in St. Joseph and know the city well. Will be glad to take you up to the Legion building in St. Joe. Please remember, that you will need to be at the McDonalds in Plaate City before 10:00 am. We will be leaving Platte City promptly at 10:00 am to make it to the American Legion building in St. Joe at 10:30. That's the "time schedule" that "Doc" made earlier and we will be sticking to it. My guess is you would need to leave the Topeka area around 8:00 am to get to Platte before 10:00 am. You will probably want to gas up at the Quick Trip at Platte City when you get there.
Feel free to join us at the McDonalds in Platte City if you want to. Please let "Doc" know if you are going to join us so he can add you to his list for a head count. Call me if questions.
Ride safe, brothers .......

| Patriot Guard Riders,
I have been notified by the Casualty Assistance Officer at Ft. Leavenworth and the funeral director that the funeral for PFC Brian Bradbury has been delayed by one week.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, 08 Jul 2006, at 1300; the location remains Word of Life Church in St. Joseph, MO. Interment will follow in White Cloud, KS.
At the request of PFC Bradbury's family, we shall honor him, them, and his community with a Mission Ride on that date. We shall assemble at American Legion Post 359 beginning at 1000; Mission Briefing, equipment check, and lineup at 1100; and ride to Word of Life Church at 1115. I will post more information and updates upon my return from Claremore on Wednesday.
Please keep PFC Bradbury's widow, Stephanie, close to your hearts this week; keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. This has been very difficult for all of them.
I offer my personal, heartfelt thanks to each Rider who prepared for this Mission Ride on short notice, and I look forward to shaking hands with each of you on the 8th. Your dedication makes us great.
