Our nation has lost another hero. Larry William Riemann, 67, of Fountain, passed away on October 10, 2008, in Bay Medical center, after a brief illness. Airman E-4 Riemann served our nation from 1963-1967. He was a member and past post commander of the Am Vets Post 231. He was a 32nd Degree Master Mason with the Red Level Lodge #134 and Scottish Rite Valley of Panama City. Mr. Riemann also volunteered much of his time to be sure that flags were posted at the graves of deceased veterans.
The family has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to help honor their hero at the funeral service at Southerland funeral home on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 1:00 pm followed by a procession to Evergreen Memorial Gardens on Highway 231.
We will form a flag line outside Southerland Funeral Home prior to the service, and then participate in the procession to Evergreen Gardens and reform a flag line around the graveside service. Please bring your bike mounted 3x5 flag, if possible. Hydrate well, it is still hot.
