The family (son) of Willis "Red" Mann has asked the PGR to provide a flag line and escort for this WW II hero.
WILLIS MANN "Red" Portage, Indiana Formerly Glen Park, Indiana Willis "Red" Mann, age 89, passed away October 9, 2008. He was born in Clinton, IN. He was a past president, manager, coach & umpire at Junedale Little League in Glen Park.
Mr. Mann a WWII US Army veteran, serving with the 8th Infantry in Germany and was awarded the Bronze Star.
He is survived by two sons: Doug (Barbara) Mann and Mark (Denise) Mann of Hobart.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 13, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th St., Hobart. Interment at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home (Hobart).
