I send my condolences to the family of   LCpl Ryan Cantafio. As the ride Capt. I would like to point out that Ryan was KIA November 24 2004. Before we had A Patriot Guard In Wisconsin. His family has never felt the warmth that a flag line can bring. I have 20 flags made up. I will be in Beaver Dam by 3pm/1500. If you can make it also Thank you. If you cant make it Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

These are word from Ryans Mother
He served from 2000-2004 until he was killed. He enlisted and went to boot camp after he graduated high school in 2000. Went to boot camp in August; graduated in Nov. His base is Golf Company in Madison, and their hdqtrs is in Chicago 2nd Battalion, 24th Marine. He was killed on 11/25/04 in the Anbar province in Lutifiyah by an IED during a night patrol. He was a gunner on a humvee. He also received a Navy Medal of Honor in 7/06 for combat distinguishing award. He directed his humvee into the line of fire from the insurgents and got them to withdraw. During this he killed several of them which saved the lives of his comrades. He was awarded the Purple Heart upon his death. There are several other medals I honestly can't tell you what they are because Amanda has the flag case and medals in it. If there's anything else you need to know, please let me know. Thank you so much for your dedication to this event. It means so much to me!

It was an honor to stand a flag line with my PGR brothers and sisters to dedicate a Beaver Dam street in the name of LCpl Ryan Cantafio. It is a small but fitting tribute to the great sacrifice of this brave hero. My prayers and condolences go out to Ryan's family and friends. Rest in peace young Marine.
