As you know, these missions tend to change on a frequent basis. I have just received word that the arrival time has been changed.
We will now stage at the McDonalds at 1315 (1:15PM)
Please watch this thread for more up to date information if/when it becomes available.
Hope to see a large turnout for this one, we were outnumbered by the Colorado Springs LEOs for the last one, I don't want that to happen again.... :)
Ted "Gopher" Malone Assistant State Captain - Southern Colorado
************************************************************************
The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to greet a large number of arriving troops from the sandbox, escort them to Ft. Carson, and participate in the Welcome Home ceremony. OPSEC rules prevent us from disclosing further information, but these are troops you’ll want to come out and support.
The mission will consist of 3 parts; Welcoming the troops as they deplane, escorting them to Ft. Carson, and participating in the official ceremony.
Staging will be at the McDonalds on Powers and Airport (just south of Platte) at 1115 (11:15 am). We will depart for the arrival location at 1145 (11:45am). Please be prepared to ride onto an active military installation. (See the Ft. Carson ride rules post in the Colorado Forum for more information)
Please be aware that these missions change on a moment’s notice, so subscribe to this thread and count on these details changing at least once.
I will be the Ride Captain for this mission.
Thanks!
Ted “Gopher” Malone

Our debt to the Heroic men and Valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid . They have earned our undying gratitude. America will never forget their sacrifices (President Harry S. Truman)
During these days of many trials and tribulations that our land of the free are facing, let us remember to hold our heads up high in remembrance for those who gave thier life for our freedom and those that are still in harms way for this cause. Pray for the brokenhearted and proclaim victory for those who are held captive. Lord, You are the light of the world and we declare You to be Lord over every nation. We know your light shines in darkness and the darkness does not always comprehend, but we also know You light will always prevail. Amen. Chaplin, Lorraine Richmond.
