This is the Final Mission Plan - 23 APR 09

There has been a time change, as noted below, from that posted initially.

Captain Reese is to be laid to his final rest on the hallowed grounds of
Arlington National Cemetery on 23 April, 2009 at approximately 1100 hours
from the Old Chapel on Ft Myer.

Stage:     0940 hrs    Iwo Jima Memorial (Marine Corps War Memorial)
Brief:       0950 hrs
Transit:    1000 hrs    to Old Chapel
Honors:   1010 hrs    Flag Line at Old Chapel
Honors:   1130 hrs    Graveside ANC (time approx.)

Ride Captain:  Dave "SilverBack" Slone   301-758-5608 cell

Iron Horses preferred, cages welcome as always.
Mounted large flags preferred for transit (furl upon Chapel parking).
Large hand-held flags desired for Honor Flag Line.
Military mandated ID / gear ARE required for this mission.
    (Photo ID, long pants, long sleeves, full finger gloves,
      face shield / goggles / windshield, reflective vest / belt at night).

Remember we are here to honor the Hero and  family, friends, and
comrades-in-arms, and to stand tall, silent and proud.  If you cannot join
us, please set aside a moment of silence at the appointed hour, to reflect
on their sacrifice.

This is a Confirmed ANC Mission!

Captain Reese is to be laid to his final rest on the hallowed grounds of
Arlington National Cemetery on 23 April, 2009 at approximately 1500 hours
from the Old Chapel on Ft Myer.

PGR has been invited to attend, and will be there standing tall, silent and
proud at the return of an American Hero to the soil he gave his all to
defend.

Mission plans will be published here as the are completed.
