Mulvilhill Funeral Parking and Other Instructions 13 August

Hello All,

Please read important instructions before arriving at staging area at
Davis Funeral Chapel in Leavenworth.  If you have further questions
AFTER reading this, please free to call or email me.  We are expecting a
large turnout and hot weather.  We believe that if we organize parking
prior to the start of the funeral then we create less disturbances to
the services going on inside during.

10:00AM Mission Briefing will be held in the Davis parking lot at the
Flags Trucks.  Please try to be present.

PARKING FOR ALL VEHICLES:

There will be Patriot Guard Riders positioned at areas around Davis to
separate out the following and direct you as to which lot you are to
park in

1. Motorcycles with large American Flags
2. All motorcycles without big flags
3. All Cages (this is Patriot Guard for cars, trucks, vans, etc.)

The only Patriot Guard/Support vehicles that will be allowed to park in
the Davis Funeral Chapel parking lot will be

1. The ALR Post 370 Flag Trailer which will have 200 American Flags
2. Alan (AJ) Jacobs' truck which will have water and another 50
American Flags
3. Our bagpiper vehicle
4. Soldier's Angels vehicles which will have bottled water for all
Patriot Guard Riders

FOOD/BEVERAGES:

Directly next to the Davis parking lot is the NuWay DriveThru/Diner.
The owner, Corbett, has very kindly agreed to open early and add
additional staff to support our needs on Wednesday.

* CASH ONLY!!!!!  NO CREDIT CARDS
* Air Conditioned, counter and seating available in dining area
* Diner type menu and he'll have plenty of coffee for us.
* Please be kind and patient.  They are doing us a huge favor!

FT. LEAVENWORTH BASE REQUIREMENTS FOR RIDERS AND PASSENGERS

* Yes, I'll do this again...
* The base has waved certain restrictions due to the heat: NO long
sleeved shirt, full-fingered gloves, whatever else you used to do...
* The base is NOW ONLY requiring: HELMET, Reflective Belt or
Reflective Vest (That means it must reflect light...think safety vest
worn by construction worker)

JOINING LATE

For those who are not able to make the beginning of this mission, please
DON'T LET THAT STOP YOU FROM JOINING US!!!!!

Please see the schedule and make sure you are present before the
departure for Ft. Leavenworth at 14:00 (2:00PM).  Find someone who knows
what's going on and you'll fit right in!

Thanks for what you do!

Thank you for my freedom. May you rest in peace. Some people’s lives can truly make a difference however long or short their lives on earth. They give the gifts of kindness and of caring. They sow the seeds of friendship and self-worth. Some people’s lives are beautiful examples of putting others first, and when they are gone, the lives of those they touched are so much richer, and the love they shared lives on and on.
