Thanks to everyone who came out to help welcome home the first four companies of the 2/147 today. We have one more group coming back tomorrow morning that we just received details on.

Staging will be at Holman Field in St Paul.

1115: Staging opens
1130: Mission briefing
1215: Arrival of troops
1315: Dismissed

Current weather forecast is for 80 and sunny, please dress appropriately. As always remember to bring your US Flag an anything you will need to be self sufficient for the duration of the mission.

Welcome Home - 2/147th AVN - St. Paul, MN - 25-27 JULY 08

The 2/147th Aviation Battalion from the MN Army National Guard is returning home to Minnesota. Some of you may recall being at the send-off for this unit last summer, now it is time to welcome them home! These soldiers will be coming home in several groups, returning to Holman Field in St. Paul. We have been asked by the National Guard to help welcome them home.

Staging will be at Holman Field in St Paul.

Itinerary for Friday, July 25:

1200: Staging opens
1230: Mission briefing
1330: Arrival of Delta Co, 2/147 AVN
1430: Arrival of Echo Co, 2/147 AVN
1530: Arrival of Alpha Co, 2/147 AVN
1630: Arrival of HHC, 2/147 AVN
1715: Dismissed
