It's with heavy heart that I report the loss of another Utah Hero. 1LT James W. Taylor Jr., a U.S. Army Reservist and RN Flight Nurse, died of injuries suffered in a two-helicopter crash near Flagstaff, Az. on June 29th. Both were medical helicopters transporting patients at the time of the collision. Six people died at the scene. James, the sole survivor at the scene, died Friday from his injuries.
The family has requested PGR attendance at the funeral services to be held on Saturday. There will be a Viewing from 11:00 am to 11:45 am with the Funeral Service scheduled to begin at Noon. Both the Viewing and Funeral will be at the Murray North Stake Center at 5200 S. 7th West. Interment will be at the Salt Lake City Cemetery
Matt “Wiggles” Munk will be the Ride Captain.
Staging location: Horizon Elementary School, 5180 South Glendon St. (700 W.) just north of the church.
Staging time: 9:15 am to 10:15 am, KSU at 10:20 am. We will set the flag line at 10:30 am and stand the flag line until approximately 12:15.

| A Fallen Hero who is twice a Hero is gone. May God bless and comfort his family, friends and co-workers. A ctizen/soldier, a flight nurse, and now an Angel to watch over us all. We salute you, James, for the dedication and commitment you have shown your country and your fellowman. You are, indeed, a Hero of the highest caliber and for this we thank you.
