               OutLaw Field, 200 Airport Road

               (off Tiny Town Road),

               Clarksville, TN 37042

 

Note:  Those leaving from the Nashville area, pre-staging will be at the Shell Station, I-24 exit 40, Old Hickory Blvd. at *1000.  KSU  *1030   SHARP  (NOTE, TIME CHANGE!!)

 

Weather:  Sunny, High 90/low 69.  Please stay hydrated and dress for the weather.

We will escort from the Airport to the funeral Home, these arragements are not final, and that info will not be available until Tuesday.  The Ride Captains will have the funeral home info on Wednesday, unless it is posted prior to then.

Come out and help us Honor this Fallen Hero and His Family........

Visitation:  Thursday, July 3rd, 2008, from 1500 - 1900 hrs.  (3pm - 7pm) at Neal-Tarpley

                  Funeral Home, 1510 Madison St., Clarksville, TN 37040

 

                  No Staging, please go to the funeral home on the night of visitation for a flag

                  line that will be outside.

 

                  Friday, July 4th, 2008, from 0900 - 1100 hrs.  (9am - 11am) at Neal-Tarpley

               Clarksville, TN 37040, interment to follow at Rest Haven Cemetery.

It's with a sad and heavy heart that I must post Tennessee has lost another American Hero, SPC Joshua L. Plocica, 20, of Clarksville, TN, died June 25, 2008 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device.  He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.

SPC Plocica, a Clarksville soldier, following in the footsteps of his family members when he enlisted in the Army in August 2006, shortly after graduating from Rossview High School.  His Grandfather, Army retired Chief Warrant Officer 3 Michael T. True, and his Uncle, Master Sgt. William C. Clark, served their country, and Spc. Plocica wanted to do his part and follow in their footsteps........SPC Plocica would want his family and friends to celebrate his life, not mourn his death, his mom said......

He is survived by his mother, Lisa Thompson, father, David Corbin, and sister Brenna Corbin.

DoD Identifies Army Casualty

 

            The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

 

            Spc. Joshua L. Plocica, 20, of Clarksville, Tenn., died June 25 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
