Every hero any of us stand for are special in their own way.  Zack and the Grass family are special to me for two reasons.  One is that although many were from my surrounding area and close enough to hometown heroes, Zack is the only one actually from my home town.  Actually, I live in Navarre and the Grass' live half way between Beach city and Navarre.

Another reason will be understood by anyone who stood for Zack last June.  It would be next to impossible to find a more caring, welcoming, patriotic family then the Grass'.

I  don't have transportation and I don't know if I'll be able to get a ride or not, but if they want us to stand for Zack one more time, I'll be there one way or another.  If I'm unable to secure a ride, I'll just head straight to the cemetary.

To the Grass Family:  Thank you so much for extending us this honor one more time!

It will be my Honor to do this Memorial Mission. I was there for the Grass Family and Zack when he returned state-side.

I will be returning from Washington DC. directly after the parade there Sunday the 25th To be in Beach City by early mornin. I am still waiting a reply back from Larry about further details.

Directly after the Memorial Mission I will be heading out to Carter Caves KY for the 3rd Annual Gerad Maggard Memorial Rally.

I know this event has landed on such a day that most Family's may have already made plans but I assure you one thing you will never find a more Loving and Caring Family to Honor and Support. I was overwhelmed and speechless from the Grass Family and there respect for the PGR when we was allowed to lay Zack to rest. I still personially stop by from time to time to visit Zack just the two of us and it is truely a great feeling.

On a further note there is one gas station in Beach City and it is small and I have "NO" idea if it will be open on Memorial day. So please make sure you Bikes/Cars have plenty of fuel in them. I do know if you are coming from the North and are traveling down st rt 93 there is a better possability of getting fuel in Brewster, ohio. Navarre will be a good place to fuel up.

As soon as I hear anything as an update I will be sure to post. So please check the box at the top of the page...
