02 May 2008 2:24 PM Alert

St. Elmo will be having a dedication ceremony for the newly constructed Veteran's Memorial and have requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders to provide a flag line throughout the ceremonies.   Currently, a fly over by C-130 plane is planned as well as comments from a State Representative and a Brigadier General.   Members of the Civil Air Patrol will lay a wreath at the memorial.

This was a much anticipated Memorial for the town of St. Elmo and we like to see a great turnout for this event.

Ceremony to begin at 2:00 pm.

LOCATION:  Memorial is located on Rt 40 next to the Phillips Bldg.

STAGING:  Corner of Rt 40 and Walnut.   (Old gas station)

TIME:  1:00 PM

On behalf of a grateful nation, we honor and thank our Veterans. They will never be forgotten. This Memorial will insure a living history of our nations sacrifices for the present and future generations.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you: 1. Jesus Christ. 2. The American G.I. One died for your soul, the other for your Freedom.
