I cannot be there in person to welcome these American Hero's home but all who attend this event will be kept in my prayers.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth , nor any other created thing , shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39.

Thank you all for such a great response for the May 20th dinner reservations. We have maxed out with 78 reservations and will be starting a waiting list in case anyone's plans change and they can not make it.

Larry the Cable Guy and his wife are paying for the flight but are NOT scheduled to be at the dinner at this time. The meals are being paid for by "Heartland Honor Flight".

Please let me know if your plans change so we can seat people from the waiting list. Please let me know if you would like your name placed on the waiting list.

EVERYONE is still encouraged to stand the flag line and / or help with the escort. THANK YOU ONE AND ALL!

They have graciously expanded the hosted guest list to 80 yet we still have 19 on the waiting list as of today.
Please let me know if your plans change and those of you I confirmed were “seated” can no longer make the dinner so I can move some people from the waiting list.

There is always room for everyone on the escort and flag line. Thank you all for you terrific response!

I understand that the dinner reservations are long gone, but I fully intend to be there and ride in honor of my father who served with the 10th Mountain Division out of Camp Hale, CO, 1942. A very big thank you to the Whitney's for such generosity and I would like to see more of this type of honor bestowed upon all of our veterans.

Thanks so much to a group of 100 brave men who fought in the days where grit and determination won the battles day in and day out. It was a humbling experience to be greeted by such men when returning from the Middle East. It is an even greater honor to how them our appreciation for the sacrifices they made to keep the world free.
